Durango Telegraph Calendar Policy

The Durango Telegraph offers its "On the Town" calendar as a free, weekly community service showcasing the week's goings on in and around Durango, namely arts, entertainemnt and recreation. Demand is high and space is limited for this (free, weekly) service. As such, events must fall into one of the following categories:

 - Entertainment (live music; performances; concerts; shows)

-  Special Events and/or fund-raisers that are either free or include a nominal fee and are sponsored by a nonprofit or nondenominational organization

- Arts (art openings, art shows, art displays, art exhibits)

- Free lectures, workshops, classes and/or meetings (as in totally free of charge, no "suggested donation") sponsored by nonprofit/nondenominational groups

Events that are submitted in advance of the week they take place will be listed chronologically in the "upcoming" section, space permitting. Also, publication of any and all listings is subject to the final discretion of the editor.
