If you think the legal marijuana industry is big in Colorado, you’re not high. According to a study by Denver University Assistant Professor of Business Paul Seaborn, the number of active Colorado marijuana licenses is at an all-time, uh, record.
Speaking of alternative transportation, you might want to consider it this weekend and next. The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office has announced it will be conducting sobriety checkpoints between 5 p.m. – 12 midnight on Aug. 25, and Sept. 1. (We’re thinking these won’t include coffee and pastries like the Float to Work station.)
