Durango's burning hot secret
To the editor,
Please pay attention to this important warning. One thing the City of Durango or the government will not tell you is that Durango is one of the most radioactive towns in the country with an average radiation count of 50-60 counts per minute (CPM). This measurement is reached after counting the hot particles in the air for 10 minutes and then dividing that by 10 to get your average per minute count. That’s an average of 50-60 radioactive particles in the air per minute every day (100 CPM is alert level.)
The radiation gets worse when there are fires in the area, or out west. As trees and soils burn, the ancient radioactive contamination is released into the atmosphere. The smoke goes over the entire Durango area. It is then added to the already very high radioactive contamination of the lands and waters. Local people do not even realize how bad it is.
Radioactive accomplice, radon is naturally high in the entire region. Did your Realtor tell you how radioactive the area, land, air and water was when they sold you that house/land? Do the county commissioners tell people that new development and any disturbance of soils will result in larger exposed areas of radiation? Will they accept liability and tell people how radioactive this part of the country is? Who will say intake of radiation is good for you in any amount? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiation-induced_cancer
Do not be in the first parts of the rain or snow. Harmful radiation slowly accumulates in the body and bones until it harms you. Here is a web page with updated CPM measurements from all around the country: bpearth- watch.com/worldradreport/#map11
Most people know someone who has passed on from a radiation poisoning related illness but they were told it was something else, like a heart attack. Once you know what the harmful effects of radiation poisoning and smart meter accelerators are, you will see it happening all around you.
Learn about the effects and reducing your intake of radioactive particles. Women and children are very susceptible to the effects of long term contamination from daily dosing. People living on the south side of Durango who inhale train smoke are taking in high amounts of radiation. Many Durango basements are dangerously hot. I measured a basement on E. 8th Avenue and 7th Street that was 77 CPM. The poor guy wondered why he always had nose bleeds.
Dog Park hill and that entire area above the river is at 100 CPM – alert level. Same thing right at the water level where everyone rafts. Some places on the bike trail were measured at over 200 CPM. Unsuspecting people ride their bikes past old piles of slag that are hotter than anywhere in the city. How to protect yourself from radiation poisoning: www.naturalhealth365.com/radiation-3.html/
This is important information to know if you live in La Plata County or the surrounding areas. This includes Pagosa, Bayfield, Ignacio, Mancos, Cortez, areas just north of Los Alamos, N.M., and most of Utah. The entire region west to Nevada has a long history of being highly contaminated from ’60s bomb fallout.
Heated propane is also very radioactive at an average of 70 CPM. Imagine breathing heated radioactive forced air all winter. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Rio_Blanco
The worst EMF radiators are smart meters. They agitate hot particles. Do the homework around them: emfsafety network.org/smart-meters/smart-meter-health-complaints/
UV A, B and C has been record-setting in the Durango area (summer 2017). UV C destroys DNA. Check this site before going outside on a hot summer day. Children are very susceptible: www.epa.gov/sunsafety/uv-index-1#day1
Here is a link that will tell you about the bad effects of sunscreen: articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/ 2017/04/26/hazardous-chemicals-in-sunscreens.aspx
All of these sources of radiation are highly concerning, considering the effects of long-term exposure. The best thing is to remain indoors and get yourself a good air filter. Of course, everyone has things to do, so what can you do? Take in nascent iodine ... detox with Zeolite. Out filter radon. Think, radiation, EMF and UV protection protocols. Study. Get a high-end Geiger counter to know how bad this situation really is.
