Facts, decency matter
John Purser is running for LPEA’s District 4 director. However, his campaign has continually been dishonest. He has stated that LPEA’s debt from the Tri-State exit is $350 million, when the actual future net exit cost is $70 million. He also stated LPEA’s contract payments to be 15 cents for every dollar earned, while it is 3 cents per dollar earned. These financial figures are verified by Fitch Ratings which assigned LPEA an A+ rating. Equally indecent has been his investigation into LPEA CEO’s personal life and living situation in a letter to the Durango Herald.
As members of our outstanding co-op, we deserve directors with integrity, campaigning on facts and decency. There is still time to vote electronically until May 19.
Please vote for David Luschen, who is a truly qualified individual with more than 25 years in leading positions in our nation’s largest publicly owned utility!
