Residents are reminded to report incidents of bears accessing trash
With bears actively foraging for foods in preparation for hibernation and bear activity picking up, residents are reminded that local bear and trash laws only work when incidents are reported. City residents can call City Code at 375-4930 to report incidents of trash accessed by bears. County residents should call Animal Protection via Central Dispatch at 385-2900.
