Feeling the pull

Sedona, Ariz., is known as a mountain biking, yoga, energy-vortex and psychic mecca all rolled into one. During a single hike on one of the many spectacular trails weaving through town, it’s not unusual to experience tourists desperately searching for the next cairn while bikers rip by in full-face helmets and the soothing sounds of Native American flute drift from nearby thickets of juniper. One might even have the pleasure of meeting a real-life shaman or two (or three), all in a single mile of trail. However unlikely this juxtaposition of characters is, there’s one thing for sure: there is something magical that attracts people to this redrock wonderland. Here's a look:
