Soul music

Despite less than cooperative weather, folks at last weekend’s Rhythm and Soul Festival in Mancos didn’t let it dampen their spirits. The three-day event, hosted by the nonprofit Agape Durango, showcased music from more than 20 artists. The show was accompanied by a message of peace and unity, which is particularly relevant in the troubling times of late. The artists played rain or shine well into the night at Cottonwood Park, offering plenty of music for festival-goers to get their groove on.
