Beck in the box
Singer, rapper and musician extraordinaire Beck will be celebrating his 47th birthday in Telluride this summer. The reclusive singer, who most recently beat out Beyonce? for the 2015 “Album of the Year” Grammy, will be bringing his two turntables and microphone to this year’s Ride Festival, set for July 8-9 in Town Park.
If you happen to see him on July 8, be sure to wish him a happy birthday.
Other acts announced this week include a return visit from Ben Harper as well as the John Butler Trio and festival mainstays the Temperance Movement and Rival Sons.

Turns out, blondes do have more fun, or at least they get more awards. Last week, Ska Brewing won the gold medal for its True Blonde Ale in the English-Style Pale Ale category at the 2026 World Beer Cup. This is the third win for the Blonde at the World Beer Cup, held in Philadelphia on April 22 and pegged as one of the world’s most prestigious beer competitions.
