Caring for Kirk

OK – this one tugs at the heartstrings.
Lisa Parker, of Parker’s Animal Rescue, sent out a request for help after a puppy named Kirk was saved from severe abuse at the hands of a human a few weeks ago. Parker said the pup required emergency medical care, X-rays and procedures to repair a badly broken jaw.
The good news is Kirk is beginning to heal, both physically and emotionally, and is ready to be adopted. Parker said the Animal Rescue is asking for donations to help pay for the emergency care, and those interested in possible adoption should reach out. More info at www.parkersanimalrescue.com
