And speaking of beer and awards, Ska Brewing was named “Best Brewery” in Elevation Outdoors magazine’s “Best of the Rockies” reader’s choice awards. The awards were listed in the magazine’s March issue, which hit newsstands this week.
“When you make some of the best beer in the region and call Durango home, you’re practically a shoo-in for best brewery,” wrote the mag.
“We are honored by the overwhelming sup- port from our fans,” Kristen Muraro, Marketing Director at Ska, said. “I am proud of the team we have here at Ska for their incredible work and dedication to creating the best beer possible.”
This spring, Ska drinkers can look forward to new mixed 12-pack offerings and of course the return of Mexican Logger.
Boulder-based Elevation Outdoors was founded in 2009 and focuses on outdoor sports, health/fitness and adventure travel in Colorado, the Rocky Mountains and beyond. It is distributed 10 times annually. For more “Best of the Rockies,” go to www.elevationoutdoors.com.
