Road warriors
Ever wanted to ride your bike across Europe? Well, now’s your chance to do it – vicariously, and with someone with much younger legs.
This week, the Telegraph introduces “Homeless in Europe,” a new online-only feature written by recent Animas High grad Domi Frideger. Domi, who some may remember from his solar-car fame, is taking the gap-year option and pedaling across Europe with two buddies.
When all is said and done, plans call for the three-month trip to take them from Norway to Spain (about 2,400 klicks, or 1,500 miles.) Saddle up with Domi and the boys tomorrow at durango telegraph.com as the rubber hits the road and they do Viking battle with gear and the elements.
Domi will be checking in occasionally throughout his adventures – and whenever he can find reliable wifi. Safe travels and may the wind always be at your backs.

Turns out, blondes do have more fun, or at least they get more awards. Last week, Ska Brewing won the gold medal for its True Blonde Ale in the English-Style Pale Ale category at the 2026 World Beer Cup. This is the third win for the Blonde at the World Beer Cup, held in Philadelphia on April 22 and pegged as one of the world’s most prestigious beer competitions.
