The Voice

The sweet twang that won America’s hearts last year is coming to Durango. None other than Farmington teen and “The Voice” winner Chevel Shepherd will be headlining this year’s “Friday at the Fair” concert Aug. 9 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.

Tickets went on sale this week, with reserved seats at $35 and general admission $25. They can be bought online at www.durangoconcerts.com.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with local bluegrass band Six-Dollar String Band opening at 7, and Chevel taking the stage at 8.
